I ran into Newport-Mesa’s director of educational technology, Steve Glyer, working at the Educational Technology Action Network (ETAN) booth. They are sharing a new system that allows you to input your zip code and then receive not only names and addresses of your senators and congressmen, but also drafts of letters to them advocating for educational technology.
I’ll post a link as soon as I can… Unfortunately I’ve already walked away from the booth and am watching a live webcast with Chris Walsh… More on that later.
Update 07/10/06:
Here is the link to the Educational Technology Action Network: www.etan.org/
I believe they were using the zip code search feature on congress.org to locate representatives’ contact information.
Is there anything I’m missing?
