WoWinSchool / FrontPage
Cool! A site dedicated to World of Warcraft in schools! I wish this were around when I was doing my dissertation. In any case, this is not well populated yet, but has several lesson idea suggestions for incorporating WoW into Math, Language Arts, and much more. :)

GQueues – Lists. Prioritized. Simple.
This isn't a Google app, but it's well integrated with Google. I think RTM serves this purpose for me though.

Official Gmail Blog: New in Labs: Automatic message translation
This is my favorite labs feature in a while. It's right up there with forgotten attachment detector, cancel send, and canned responses. :)

Quote and Comment – Mindcasting: defining the form, spreading the meme

Henry Hudson 400 | Amsterdam – New York | April – September 2009
This is a Google maps mash up with historical maps overlays – of the sort you could previously only do in Google Earth. I'm not sure how they did this or if teachers can replicate it, but this is a great history resource in and of itself.

Computer Science Teacher – Thoughts and Information from Alfred Thompson : Ethical Killing Machines?
My first thought when Alfred posted a link to this on Twitter was "Skynet?" – here's the key question: "But increasingly there is interest in machines, call them robots if you like, that will make the 'fire or not' decision on their own. These machines will be controlled by software. But just how do you program a machine to act ethically?"

Jobs for Change – Nonprofit Jobs
Will Richardson tweeted this earlier in the week. It looks exciting and got me poking around a bit. Pass it on, particularly to any graduating students (or out of work teachers): "Jobs for Change seeks to spark a nationwide movement toward careers in the nonprofit, government, and social enterprise sectors."
