- 2008-2009 Walden University Graduate Catalog – Curriculum Walden’s new catalog is available online. Scroll down to (or search for) the “Educational Technology Specialization” to see the new curriculum, including an increased focus on preparing students to lead and design distance education courses. It almost makes me wish I could take some of the new courses. ;) tags: waldenu, walden, edtech
- Barack Obama | Change We Need | Obama 08: The Official iPhone and iPod Touch Application This is my new favorite iPhone App: “Making a difference takes only moments using the Call a Friend feature. Want to do more? Find your local Obama for America HQ or look up local campaign events. You’ll have instant access to Barack’s positions on important issues, as well as local and national campaign news as it happens. Photos and videos from the campaign trail are all here, too.” tags: iphone, app, obama
- Learning in Hand Blog by Tony Vincent Handheld guru Tony Vincent on the Flip Video in education… worth a quick read if you’re thinking about buying one – or wondering how best to use one. tags: tonyvincent, flipvideo
- Google Store Home – Accessories, Apparel Items, Software, Office Equipment Dude! It’s the Google Store. They have these on site at some of the offices (well, in Mountain View at least), but I had no idea they were online. Now there’s no more worry about getting schwag for CUE’s Google Learning Institutes. :) tags: googlelearninginstitute, googlestore
- The Tech Curve: On GTA Chicago and I also particularly appreciated Kern Kelley’s reflection about “eating his own dogfood.” Somehow I missed this Google phrase in my visits to the offices. :) tags: googleteacheracademy
- Google Docs – Google Certified Teachers Contact Information A growing list of GCTs and their blogs, twitter IDs, emails and more. These are great folks to add to your personal learning network if they’re not there already. ;) tags: googlecertifiedteachers, googleteacheracademy, pln
- Circuits: The Mother of All Search Functions David Pogue seems to be a fan of Google. Says his latest column: “Use Google search for everything.” What he really means of course, is use Google instead of any other site’s built in search. I agree completely – it’s what I do. Hm. Maybe Pogue will be interested in the GTA NYC… tags: davidpogue, google, search
- 2008 Walden University Presidential Youth Debate Walden University is committed to effecting positive social change, so it’s great to see them get involved in the election: “Senators McCain and Obama have committed to answering the 14 questions young Americans choose as most important to them in The Walden University Presidential Youth Debate. Send your questions in below, and then choose the final questions on September 30th!” tags: walden, waldenu, politics, election
- Sloanspace: GTA reflection One of my favorite GTA reflections so far (mine is still forthcoming). Chris Sloan acknowledges the scope of the project, includes a great (on many levels) example of Book search in action, and some constructive feedback for next time. Thanks, Chris tags: googleteacheracademy

Our local CUE affiliate, SLOCUE, is hosting a Google Docs session at the end of October. I just bought some Google hats to raffle off. Thanks for link!
