Link: Math in Wikispaces

Math in Wikispaces (Via Wikispaces Blog.) Wikispaces has added support for LaTex mathematical markup. It looks a bit technical for most teachers, but perhaps this is something math teachers know or would be more than happy to learn given the results – really cool looking formulas on a wiki. :)

Thanks for the link Mark. It is a bit tech-heavy, but for better or worse LaTex seems to be the standard for representing complex formulas on the web. Something we’ll be on the lookout for is a good in-browser formula editor that the rest of us can use to generate formulas – if you or any readers know of a good one, please drop us a line!

Thanks for the comment, James. Since I’m sharing wikispaces with folks in workshops so often, it’s great to know I’m promoting a company that is so responsive to users. :)
